Dorette S. Feit was a partner of Irell & Manella for more than 25 years. Having joined Irell when the firm had fewer than 70 lawyers, Dory enjoyed the rare experience of a high-powered
litigation practice that included a wide variety of cases. Her practice ran the gamut of commercial litigation from profit participation and other entertainment-related cases to real
estate disputes and patent litigation. In addition, Dory has litigated issues of international jurisdiction, employment discrimination, and insurance coverage. She has worked with clients
ranging from well-known entertainment figures and companies to individual entrepreneurs to multi-national corporations. Her practice has included appearances before state and federal trial-
level courts throughout California and the Ninth Circuit as well as JAMS and AAA arbitration.
Dory received her J.D. from University of California, Berkeley, School of Law (Boalt Hall), where she was an editor on the California Law Review. Dory graduated number one in the Government and Politics Department of the University of Maryland, where she received a B.A. summa cum laude and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
